When children are involved, mediators may assist in the creation of a parenting plan. This is a plan of action regarding how parents will continue or begin raising their children while living apart. The plan will be designed to address the issues parents perceive as important in the child's upbringing, as well as where their child will reside and how the parents will share time with their child.
